“Amazing” is bound to be a classic song and is full of warmth and emotion. The track is a tribute to Nikkole’s colossal vocal talents (5-octave range), as well as the incredible virtuoso himself, the legendary GRAMMY and EMMY award winning trumpeter and pianist Arturo Sandoval. The collaboration feels like a natural fit for both Nikkole and Arturo. Nikkole says “All the stars lined up for me on this project, and nothing was forced”. This track boasts a sultry, sumptuous vibe that Arturo Sandavol dubbed as “Jaxy” (which equals Soulful, Sexy and Jazzy). Nikkole uses her magnificent voice in such a way that it carries us through the story line and engulfs the listener in amorous lyrics and intimate vocals. Arturo’s playing throughout is brilliant, with long lines of perfectly placed notes created in an unpredictable but ultimately logical fashion, and demonstrates that he is certainly the premiere trumpet player of our time.
